Yvonne Paquet Covino, 90, of 97 Hobert Avenue, Port Chester, NY, passed away on August 31, 2005 at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. She was born in Barre, VT in 1914 to Alphonse and Emeda (Savoie) Paquet. She attended elementary school in South Barre and was a graduate of Spaulding High School. Yvonne married Vincent Covino in 1941. They were married for 55 years. Vincent died in 1996. She is survived by her eight children, Jo Ann Geldart of Gainsville, GA; James Covino of Middlesex, VT; George Covino of Williamstown, VT; Thomas Covino of Westhampton Beach, NY; Vincent Covino of Williamstown, VT; Gerard (Jerry) Covino of Port Chester, NY; Yvonne DeMarino of Slingerlands, NY, and Diane Mackeprang of Westport, CT. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, two sisters, Madeline Unger of St. Louis, MO; Lorraine Adams of Montpelier, VT and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers, Henry Paquet, Rosario Paquet, William Paquet, George Paquet, Philip Paquet, and Paul Paquet as well as four sisters, Beatrice Booth, Cecilia Begin, Mary Jane Christie, and Florence Paquet. Yvonne will be especially remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be 7 to 9 pm, Friday, September 2, 2005 at Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St., Barre, VT. A Mass will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church at 11 am on Saturday, September 3, 2005, with burial immediately following at St. Sylvester Cemetery in Lower Websterville, VT.
