Mr. Thomas Nelson Pare, Sr., aged 83, joined his dear wife, Marian L. Pare, in eternal peace on Christmas Day. Thomas was a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather and a decorated veteran of WWII. Surviving are his son, Thomas N. Pare Jr. DDS, of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren, Thomas N. Pare III, Emily E. Pare, Kimberley C. Pare and Samuel W. Pare; his brother, James H. Pare of Palm Springs, CA; Mike and Carie McKown and Kurt and Denise Tornga. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and private family interment will be in Graceland Mausoleum. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
