BERLIN, NH -- Mrs. Doris I. (Payeur) Lagace, 82 years of age, formerly of 790 Third Ave., Berlin, NH, passed away Nov. 9, 2005 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Care Center.She was born December 24, 1922 in Berlin, the daughter of Wilfrid and Marguerite Delorge Payeur.She married Gerard J. Lagace who predeceased her November 7, of 2000.She had resided in Berlin all of her life, was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish, graduated from St. Regis Academy, a member of Ladies of St.Anne, American Legion Auxillary, Golden Age Club, M.E.S.H., a former member of the Berlin Lionettes, former “den mother” of Cub Scouts Pak#210 and a member Link of the Living Rosary. She had been employed at Wilson’s Pharmacy for several years.She is survived by one brother, Robert Payeur of Wildwood, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Edmond Payeur and Louis Payeur, one sister Mrs. Florence L’Heureux.Calling hours will be on Friday, November 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home Chapel, 72 High St., Berlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 12,at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, NH. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin, NH.Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Carmelite Nuns, 113 Upper Plain, Bradford, Vt. 05033.
