Huguette LeClerc, a long time resident of Sleepy Hollow, NY, died on July 15, 2005 at Phelps Memorial Hospital. She was 79. Mrs. LeClerc worked for Mallory Battery in Sleepy Hollow before retirement. She was born on October 27, 1925 in Quebec, Canada to Emile and Olivine Pelchat. On February 18, 1960, she married Paul LeClerc at St. John the Baptist Church in New York City. Mrs. LeClerc lived in Sleepy Hollow since 1962 and before that in Ossining. Locally, she was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church, Sleepy Hollow and the American French Club Ladies Auxiliary, where she had served as President. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Sleepy Hollow. She is survived by her husband Paul of Sleepy Hollow, two sons Norman and his wife Danielle of Beacon, NY, Mark and his wife Jane of Elkton, MD, one brother Jeanclaude Pelchat of Quebec and seven grandchildren. She is predeceased by one sister Fernande Pelchat. Visiting at the Dwyer & Vanderbuilt Funeral Homes, Tarrytown on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass St. Teresa of Avila Church, Sleepy Hollow on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment will be private.
