Wilton J. PELLERIN

Wilton J. "Bea" Pellerin, 82, of Lake Charles died at 5:47 AM, Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in a local care facility. He was a native of Kaplan and lived in Lake Charles since 1942. Mr. Pellerin worked as a Stevedore "Longshoreman" with the Lake City Stevedores for thirty-one years and was a member of ILA Local #2047. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and served as an usher for many years. Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Estelle Sonnier Pellerin of Lake Charles; two sons, James C. Pellerin and wife, Dorothy, and Sandrus J. Pellerin all of Lake Charles; two daughters, Theresa LeBlanc and husband, Charlie, of Lake Charles, and Mary Hohman and husband, George, of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter; one sister, Agnes Boone Mire of Lake Charles. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 25, 2005 from St. Margaret Catholic Church. Reverend Keith Pellerin, Mr. Pellerin's grandson, will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, Thursday, with the Catholic Daughters reciting a rosary at 12:30 PM. There will also be a Scripture Service at 6:30 PM with a rosary following at 7:00 PM, in the funeral home. Visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM, Friday.
