Cecile L. Lorraine, 89, formerly of Nashua, N.H., died Nov. 23, 2005, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, following a brief illness. Mrs. Lorraine was born Dec. 30, 1915, in Nashua, daughter of the late George and Leonie (Turcotte) Pelletier.A lifelong Nashua resident, she had resided on French Hill during her early years and later made her home on Bowers Street for several years.She was the widow of Andrew S. Lorraine, who died Feb. 14, 1977.Mrs. Lorraine had worked as a waitress at the former Priscilla's Tea Room in downtown Nashua for many years. Earlier in her career, Mrs. Lorraine had owned and operated a restaurant in Nashua.She was educated in Nashua schools and was a communicant of Infant Jesus Church.Mrs. Lorraine enjoyed playing the organ and was a member of the Organ Club.In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, Robert Pelletier, and a sister, Blanche Bergen.Survivors include two sons, Louis P. Dumais and Michael M. Dumais, both of Nashua; a daughter, Denise E. Morgan and her significant other, Richard Parnell Sr. of Amherst; nine grandchildren, Michael, Alison, Brian, Amy and Steven Dumais, Pamela Foulks, Andrea Kelly, Sally Moreau and Matthew Moreau; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.The Farwell Funeral Service, Nashua, was in charge of arrangements.
