AGAWAM - Loretta (Peloquin) Jesseman, of Agawam, died peacefully at home on December 18, 2005 with her loving daughters Helen Cohen of Long-meadow, Dorothy Allen of Sunnyvale, CA and grandson Max Cohen at her side. She was the daughter of the late Marie-Louise (Blette) and Alphonse J. Peloquin of Springfield, formerly of St. Robert, Quebec, Canada. She was predeceased by her son, James J. Jesseman of Columbia, SC and sisters Cecile Phipps of Agawam, Georgette Rielly of Marlboro, Fernande Duffy of Westfield and her niece, Sally (Phipps) Goodale of Swanzey, NH. She worked at the former Buxton Company of Agawam for many years before retiring. After her retirement she lived in California for 15 years to be with her daughter and subsequently returned to Agawam to be near her other daughter, grandchildren, Jennifer Cohen of Agawam, Sheri Cohen of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Max Cohen and his wife Joanna of Longmeadow and their children Karly and Sampson. She leaves a niece, Loretta (Phipps) Hill and her husband Edwin of West Springfield, Joanne (Rielly) Boudreau and her husband Paul of Marlboro and nephews Joe Rielly and his wife Eileen of Marlboro, John Rielly and his wife Jane of Uxbridge and several grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Loretta loved traveling. During her retirement she took three months to drive the back roads, round trip across country with her daughter. She made numerous trips to California, visiting many friends. There were many rendezvous with her daughters and an "adopted" daughter, Carol Gounaris, a long-time friend who called her Mom. She liked going to various casinos and races where she enjoyed the friendship of many. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Curran-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Loretta Jesseman may be directed to Baystate VNA and Hospice, P.O.
