WEARE -- Brian A. Petrain, 21, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Concord, he was a lifelong resident of Weare. He was the son of Bob and Kathy Petrain. Brian attended the Weare Public Schools and was a graduate of John Stark Regional High School. Growing up, he was active in many sports and was a member of the high school baseball team. Brian was employed at Harborside Healthcare of Bedford since he was 15 and worked there as a dietary aide and cook. Brian had many friends and was full of spirit and love for life. Known as "Pokey Allen," he will be missed by all. Members of his family include his parents, Bob and Kathy Petrain of Weare; a sister, Ashlee Petrain of Weare; his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Joan Hamel of Weare; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast St., Goffstown. Funeral services will be Mondayat 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
