BOILEAU-GETSINGER, ERSEL L. — Age 94, of Spring Arbor, formerly of Detroit, MI went home to be with her Lord, Friday, July 15, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Getsinger and Elmer Boileau; her parents, Allan and Cassie Phipps; sister, Mildred (Fred) Whiting; nephew, Rodney Phipps. She is survived by son, William (Annette) Getsinger; daughter, Elaine (Keith) Childerhose; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Laureta (Willis) Hawkins and Beverly Wiedefeld; two brothers, Leonard (Marilyn) Phipps and Brad (Lois) Phipps; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ersel loved her Lord, church and family very much. Funeral services will be held at the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church, in the Chapel, 120 E. Main St., Spring Arbor, MI, Tuesday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m., Reverend Earl Habecker officiating. Interment Spring Arbor Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church World Missions. Visitation will be held at the WATSON FUNERAL CHAPEL, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. J.L.
