Services for Mrs. Kerry P. Hebert, the former Ellen Picard, 38, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Guidry officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.Visiting hours will be observed from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at David Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.Musical selections will be performed by her brother and members of the 11:30 choir from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005 at her residence.Nannie Ellen enjoyed watching her nephew play roller hockey. Ellen was godmother to many. She was co-owner of Southpark Apartments and Hebert's Refrigeration. She worked as a legal secretary for 20 years. She loved to travel and shop with her mother.She is survived by her husband, Kerry P. Hebert of New Iberia; mother, Therese Theriot Picard Peltier of New Iberia; step-father, George Peltier Sr. of New Iberia; four brothers, Gene M. Picard of New Iberia, Vernon P. Picard and Clay J. Picard, both of Lafayette and Glen A. Picard of Gonzales; two sisters, Cindy L. Myers and Julie A. Benson, both New Iberia; three step-daughters, Tara H. Harwell of Carrollton, Ga., Tiffanie H. Tarno of Shreveport and Amber Hebert of Haughton; several nieces and nephews and six step-grandchildren.Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her father, Willday J. Picard; paternal grandparents, Sidney Picard and Augustine Oliva Picard and maternal grandparents, Clay J. (Bee) Theriot and Julianne Legnon Theriot.Pallbearers will be Tommy, Darrell and Mark Hebert and Vernon, Clay and Glen Picard.Honorary pallbearer will be Brennan Benson.David Funeral Home - North, Trotter Street, is in charge of the arrangements
