Edmond C. PICHETTE

Pawcatuck - Edmond C. Pichette Jr., 33, of Soundview Drive, Pawcatuck, beloved son of Edmond C. Pichette Sr., and Pauline (Cozzolino) Pichette, also of Soundview Drive, Pawcatuck, died Oct. 25, 2005, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London.He had been employed as a Master Cook at Foxwood's Resort & Casino for 12 years.Born in Westerly, he was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Pawcatuck and was a graduate of Stonington High School, with the Class of 1990, where he was a four year letter winner in golf. In his senior year, he was among the top five golfers in the state. He also attended New England Tech.He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed water sports, camping, and boating, and he loved his "quad" bike. He also loved to cook and made sure everyone always "had plenty to eat." Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his sister, Lisa Marie Gaudreau of Plainfield; his maternal grandparents, Angelo and Mary Cozzolino, also of Pawcatuck; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Kathleen Pichette.Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Michae1 the Archangel Church, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck.
