BUCHANAN, MORRIS - Morris Buchanan of Hammondvale, passed away at Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, on January 5, 2004 at the age of 60. Morris was born in Hillsdale, NB on January 27, 1943, he was the son of Edna (McGivery) Buchanan and the late Harry Buchanan. Morris is survived by his beloved wife Connie (Davis), 2 sons, James (Linda) of Hammondvale, Kevin (Tammy Scott) of Sussex, his sisters and brothers, Eloise Adair (Jim) of Picadilly, Melbourne (Marina), Zeta Seeley (Lloyd) all of Hammondvale, Doreen McGouey (Robert) of Alberta, Melvin (Barb) of Hammondvale, Judy McKinnon (Elton) of Jeffries Corner, Joan Chown (Marty), Randy all of Hammondvale, Carol Dempster (Ralph) of Upham, his mother-in-law, Leona Davis of Riverview, two grandchildren, Twyla and Colin, as well as several nieces and nephews. Morris was predeceased by his sister, Valarie. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Thursday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 9, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery in the spring.
