TEWKSBURY -- Rose (Plante) Belisle Lemelin, 94, a Tewksbury resident for four decades, died Thursday, Dec. 15, at Wingate at Andover. She was the wife of the late Romeo Belisle, and the wife of the late Elzeard Lemelin.She was born in St. Sophie, Canada, and lived in Lawrence for many years and has lived in Tewksbury for the past 40 years.She was a member of St William's Parish in TewksburyBefore retiring, Mrs. Lemelin worked at the former Tyer Rubber Co. in Andover.She is survived by a son-in-law, Roland Page, with whom she lived of Tewksbury; a daughter-in-law, Janice Belisle of Portsmouth, R.I.; two sisters, Bernie McIntosh of Lawrence and Antoinette LeBoeuf of Derry, N.H.; four stepsons, Robert Lemelin and Gerard Lemelin, both of Tewksbury and Eddie Lemelin and Roger Lemelin, both of Springfield; five stepdaughters, Doris Clermont of Tewksbury, Rose Nadeau of Derry, N.H., Claire Hamel of Palmer, and Lorraine Leveque and Theresa Doherty, both of Lowell; and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.She was also the mother of the late Richard Belisle and Claire Page.Published in the Lowell Sun on 12/17/2005.
