STUART, Fla. -- Marcelle T. Sinotte, 78, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, after a long illness. She was born and raised in Concord, where she lived until 2001. She was the daughter of the late George Poirier and Bertha (LeCompte) Poirier. She was widowed in 1963, after 16 years of marriage to Leo Paul N. Sinotte. She never remarried. Marcelle was retired from Verizon after 31 years of service and was a proud member of the IBEW. Family members include her four children, Paula Paul-Coutu of Indiantown, Fla., Louise Roberge and Thomas Sinotte, both of Concord, and Annette Hanson of Bedford; as well as her three sisters, Lorraine Mayo, Florence Sinotte and Edna Poirier; and one brother, Paul Poirier. She also had 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother George Poirier. Marcelle graduated from St. John's High School in Concord in 1945. She was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Sweet Adeline Choral Group. She enjoyed many lifelong friends from the Concord area, too numerous to mention. The highlight of her year was spending the summer at Bear Island on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith. Memorial services will be held in the summer, followed by a private burial. Memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, Hospice Program, P.O.
