Omer H. POIRIER

Omer H. Poirier, 90, of North Port, FL died October 31, 2005 at his daughter's home in Cape Coral. Mr. Poirier was born in Maine and lived in Bridgeport, CT before retiring to Florida in 1976. He was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Kay and is survived by his daughters, Judy and Marlene of Cape Coral; his loving companion, Barbara Swartztrauber, Carol and Rosemarie whom he treated as daughters; 7 brothers and sisters residing in Canada; nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews in CT and Canada and his second family in NY State. Visitation will be held TODAY, Nov. 2, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home, with a scripture service at 3 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. Interment will be in Coral Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy. E., Cape Coral, FL 33909.
