LEICESTER — Agnes Louise Lajeunesse, 86, died Dec. 10, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Leicester.She was born April 16, 1919, in Leicester, the daughter of Edward and Emma (Hance) Pomainville.She attended Pittsford High School.On Oct. 22, 1956, she married André Lajeunesse in Waterbury.During the 1950s, she worked as a matron at Brandon Training School. She and her husband farmed all their married life in Leicester.She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Leicester Junction.She enjoyed cooking and canning.Survivors include two daughters, Joan Nicklaw and Yvonne Mayhew, both of Leicester; two sons, William Fox of Alachua, Fla., and Kenneth Lajeunesse of Leicester; a sister, Cecilia Capen of Proctor; two brothers, Laurence Pomainville and Edward Pomainville Jr., both of Pittsford; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by her husband in 1999; three brothers, Kenneth, Leslie and Archie Pomainville.Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon where a vigil service will be held at 8:45 p.m.The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon. The Rev. Albert "Skip" Baltz, pastor, will be the celebrant and the Rev. Gary Blowers, pastor of the Rutland Church of The Nazarene, will co-officiate. A private burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.Following the Mass, a reception will take place at the Leicester Church of The Nazarene church hall.Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Rutland Church of The Nazarene, 144 Woodstock Ave., Rutland, VT 05701, for the benefit of a church sound system.
