David R. (Sid) Poquette, 66, passed away on December 2, 2005. Sid was born on May 21, 1939 in Iowa. David is survived by his loving wife, Carol; daughters, Robin Reynolds, Kacy DeMar, Jodi Beuning; sons, Mike Poquette, Jason Meyerhoff; sister, Sue Kolshrud; grandchildren, Ashley and Thomas Simbro, Tyler Beuning, Izaiah "Ike" DeMar, and Ariana Meyerhoff. Sid was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David. Mr. Poquette was employed by ABF Freight for many years. He would like to be remembered for his love for family, motorcycles, car shows, and Nascar. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Pastor Mark Stefanov officiating.
