Lillian L. Roy -- July 4, 1926 — July 28, 2005 -- Lillian Louise Potter Roy, 79, of Ceres died Thursday at English Oaks Convalescent Hospital, Modesto.Mrs. Roy was a native of McAlester, Okla., and lived in Ceres 44 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Assembly of God Church and the women's ministry at the church. She enjoyed camping, participating in religious retreats, crafts, crocheting and pottery.She is survived by her husband, Gordon L. Roy of Ceres; children, Jimmie Bryan of Modesto, Janie Reynolds of Turlock and Judy James of Ceres; brother, Troy Potter of Florida; sister, Bobbie Maclin of Hartshorne, Okla.; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.Visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Valley Christian Center. Burial will follow at Ceres Memorial Park.
