Elizabeth Rapp St. Laurent age 87 of Montgomery Street, Shelton, entered into rest on Monday, Novomber 15, 2005, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Gerard St. Laurent Sr. She was born in Derby on September 11, 1918, daughter of the late Adolph and Josephine Wagner Rapp, and was a lifelong resident of Shelton. Elizabeth with her husband owned and operated Jerry‚s Canteen Service for many years. She was a volunteer at Griffin Hospital Gift Shoppe and enjoyed weekly lunch and bridge games with her close friends the bridge ladies. She was the beloved mother of Gerard St. Laurent Jr. and his wife, Cindi, of Bethlehem, Suzanne Dougherty Krinsky and her husband, Dr. William Krinsky, of North Haven, and Deborah St. Laurent of Aruba; loving grandmother of Alison White and her husband, Adam, Suzanne E. Kammerman and her husband, Nicholas, Valeria St. Laurent and Gerard St. Laurent III. She is also survived by two sisters, Madeline Conti and Josephine Ledell; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert W., Frank and George Rapp. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. Her funeral will leave the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
