Edna Louise RATTE

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Edna "Sue" Louise Ratte, 74, of Pine Needles Circle, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 20, 2005. She was a member of St. John's the Apostle Catholic Church.Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, Arthur J. Ratte Jr.; six children, Judith Geiger and husband Gordon, Susan Videtich and husband Robert, James Ratte and wife Marie, and Louise Melton and husband Gary, all of Virginia Beach, Gerald Ratte of Suffolk, Va., Arthur J. Ratte III, and wife Linda of Florida; eight grandchildren, four step-granddaughters, and one great-grandchild.ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at St. John's the Apostle Catholic Church, conducted by Fr. Thomas Mattingly. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
