Margot (Rice) Dugas -- August 22, 1938 - December 19, 2005 -- BOZRAH- Margot I. (Rice) Dugas, 67, wife of Warren E. Dugas of 300 Scott Hill Road, Bozrah (Lebanon), passed away peacefully at her home Monday morning in the presence of her family. Born in New Haven on August 22, 1938, she was the fifth child of Russell and Sadie (DeLorie) Rice.She was employed at Foxwoods Resort Casino as a slot attendant for over 10 years, was an avid horse show mother, bowled for many years on the Rose of New England Ten Pin League, was a former member of T.S.G.A., and enjoyed antiquing and attending auctions. On July 11, 1961 in New York, she was united in marriage to Warren E. Dugas, her husband of 44 years, who survives along with their two daughters, Cynde O'Brien and her husband Jason of Newington, NH. and Christine Dugas of Newport, RI. One sister Charlotte Prichette of Colorado, two brothers, Russell Rice of Bozrah, and Mancel Rice of New London, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Spencer Rice. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who appreciated her direct and honest approach to life and her sharp quick wit.Visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of S.E. CT., P.O. Box 902, Uncasville, CT 06382.
