Veronica Mae Rideau Thompson entered rest on Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Wife of the late Henry J. Thompson, Jr. Daughter of the late Frank B. and Mamie J. Rideau. Mother of Angela Holliman, Andrea and Anysia Thompson. Stepmother of Rita Anderson, Barbara Larrieu, Peter Thompson and the late Henry Thompson III. Sister of Mercedes Smith, William and Erroll Rideau, Ann Jackson, the late Jean Guient, Paul, Frank, John and Peter Rideau. Devoted friend of Wilfred J. Bertrand. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saint Catholic Church, 1441 Teche Street, Algiers, LA.
