Diane Louise Guidry passed away at the age of 41 on July 8, 2005. She was born on September 23, 1963, in Kingston, N.Y. Diane was the mother of Rachel and Jared Guidry, the daughter of Edward B. and Ruth Riggio of Woodstock, N.Y. the sister of Teresa and her husband, Doug Lockwood of Maryland, Karen Matoke of England, and Edward J. Riggio of New Jersey. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was the granddaughter of Edward Riggio and the late Kilesta Riggio, and the late John C. Groves and Gladys Groves. Diane graduated from Onteora High School in 1981 and Siena College in 1985 with a degree in Marketing. She worked in sales and marketing for Raleigh News and Observer Newspaper, KJOY Radio in San Diego, KFYI Radio and KNXV-TV in Phoenix, and Phoenix Magazine. Diane's hobbies included skiing, traveling, and creating scrapbooks for her family. While in New York, she was lead singer in St. John's Catholic Church Folk Group and also a member of the Onteora High School marching band. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Phoenix. Visitation will be held at 9:30-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2005 with an 11:00 a.m. Mass to follow, all to take place at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 East Knox Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85044. Burial will be in New York at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2929 East Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ, 85016.
