Hermite RIVIERE

RIVIERE, HERMITE, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Dec. 25, 2005) at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in PetionVille, Haiti, she came here in 1985 from New York City, where she was a seamstress and later a hairstylist. She attended Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Dendy Griggs; a son, Gerald Oriol, Bradenton; a daughter, Leslie Carden, and her mother, Ersule Adolphe, both of St. Petersburg; a sister, Paulette Philistin, Montreal; six brothers, Leon Riviere, Long Island, N.Y., Pierro Riviere, Fort Lauderdale, Jean Claude Elie, Marc Charles Pierre Louis and Emanuel Toussaint, all of Queens, N.Y., and Roland Pierre Louis, South Beach; and five grandchildren.
