George Robert, 89, teacher and outdoorsman, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Nov. 18, 2005 after a brief illness. Born June 15, 1916 in Waseca, MN. He is survived by his wife, Therese (Ducharme) of Anoka; daughter, Mary of Brookline, MA; son, Bob (Lisa) and family of Ely; daughter, Lorie Bunke (Jeffrey) and family of Rosemount; and a brother, Glen. Served in the US Navy 1942-1946. He taught industrial arts in East Grand Forks and Anoka until his retirement in 1978. George will be remembered as a loved and loving husband, father, grandfather, in-law, uncle and friend. We will miss him deeply. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5th & Adams St. in Anoka. Visitation Monday 4-7 PM at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids and one hour prior to Mass at the church.
