Omer W. ROBERTS

ROBERTS, OMER W. 'BUD', 85, of Meadowcrest Drive, died Thursday, December 29 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Mary (Drukas) Roberts. Born in Readville, Massachusetts, a son of the late Omer P. and Albina (Bergeron) Roberts, he had lived in Cumberland for the past 42 years. Mr. Roberts was a refrigeration technician for William N. Harris Company, Providence for 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Local #476, Cranston. He was a member of Swansea Country Club, Swansea, Massachusetts. He was a World War II Army veteran.Besides his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
