WINDHAM - Ronald E. Robichaud, 65, of Valley View Road, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 5, 2005 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Ron attended Westbrook Schools and joined the Marines after graduation. He returned to Maine and worked at SD Warren before retiring in 1998. He recently worked at Ledgewood Manor in Windham. Ron was an avid outdoorsman, photographer, gunsmith and loving husband and father. His passion for learning, adventurous spirit and sense of humor was reflected in the way he lived. He will be remembered as a gentleman and a gentle man. Ron was predeceased by his mother, Freda Glidden. He is survived by his father, Alvah Robichaud and his wife Hazel of Newport. He is also survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kathleen. He will also be missed by his four children, Jenna Marquis and her husband Jay of Waterboro, Katti Robichaud of Portland, Lisa Hoffses and her husband Craig of Windham, and Mark Riley and his wife Kathy of Charlotte, N.C. In addition he leaves behind eightgrandchildren, whom he loved very much, John, Joshua, Jacob, Cameron, Meghan, Aidan, William and Owen. Ron also had three sisters and a brother, Carolyn Beske of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jeannie Lobdell and Nancy Harmon, both of Sarasota, Fla., and Gerry Robichaud of Newport. A period of visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, from 10-11 a.m.followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., Windham.
