N.J. "Jim" Robichaux, 76, of Orange died December 27, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 31, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Orange with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited by Reverend Neil Arce at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Mr. Robichaux was born in St. Martinville, Louisiana on March 30, 1929. He served as a Captain in the Army National Guard for 14 years and worked as an Engineer for Entex Inc. He was very active in the community, serving on the St. Mary's Parish Council, Orange Christian Services, Travelers Protective Association, Orange County Airport Advisory Board and Orange Pilot Association. He was also a member of Golden Kiwanias Club of Orange, Alpha Concept, Housing Assistance Corporation with the City of Orange, Community Partners- Rainbow Room, and Mosquito Control Board. He was preceded in death by his parents Noe James Robichaux and Elmire (Lasseigne) Robichaux. Those left to cherish his memories are wife Marion Robichaux; daughter, Susan Tharp and husband David of Grapevine, Texas; sons, John Robichaux and wife Sue of Aiken, South Carolina and Alan Robichaux and wife Joan of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by his sisters, Berna Bernard of St. Martinville, Louisiana, Inez Fournet and husband Maurice of Mauriceville, Texas and Lola Marin of Metarie, Louisiana.
