Velma L. ROBINSON

Velma L. (Robinson) Boucher, 85, an Andover resident for more than 40 years who was recently living in California, died Sunday, May 29 at Windsor Convalescent House in Vacaville, Calif. Mrs. Boucher was born in Boston and graduated from Burdette College in Boston. Before retiring, Mrs. Boucher was employed by Merrimack College in North Andover. She was a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Andover before moving to California. She was the widow of Henry Boucher. Members of her family include a daughter, Janice A. Curtin and her husband Peter of York, Maine; sons, Stephen F. Robinson of Cape Cod, and Alan K. Robinson and wife Myrna of Vacaville, Calif.; and four grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Catherine Skillings, Marie Fairbanks, Annie Maguire, and Grace Tiratto. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, Andover, on Monday, June 20, at 9 a.m. Burial services will follow at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody at 11 a.m.
