Mary Margaret COLLARD

WALSH, Mary Margaret (nee Collard), Passed away peacefully at home, with her family at her side on Tuesday, January 20th, 2004 at the age of 73. Beloved and cherished wife of William Walsh; dearest mother of Deborah Moss of Pembroke, Shelley Waite a nd Mark Freeman of St. Catharines and Bill Jr. and Judy Walsh of N.O.T.L.; precious and treasured grandmother of Trevor, Pamela, Brooke, Courtney and Tyler; loving great-grandmother of Keegan and Liam; dearest sister of Jack (Muriel) Collard; also su rvived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Catherine Collard. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Homer, 163 Queenston Road, N.O.T. L. on Saturday, March 6th 2004 at 11 o'clock to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Canadian Arthritis Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the NIAGARA-ON -THE-LAKE CHAPEL, of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent St. Throughout Margaret's long struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and more recently cancer, many wonderful friends, family members and health professionals provided her and the family with ca ring support. A very special thank you to Dr. V. Bayley and Dr. J. Dickson for their many years of excellent care and support. Sincerest thanks to Dr. S. Hartman for her compassionate care during mom's final days. To all the staff at CCAC, ParaMed an d Pro Wellness who cared for Margaret over the past years, deepest thanks for the wonderful care that was always given. Your compassionate efforts will always be fondly remembered. A special thank you to the Reverend Dorothy Hewlett who gave us all s uch wonderful spiritual support. Truly mom's most loving, compassionate caregiver was her beloved Bill. Thank you dad for giving her so much love, care and comfort, especially during the past three years.
