Candy ROCKEY

RIVARD, Candy (Age 55) - Passed away at her home on September 18, 2005,after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born July 31, 1950 in Biloxi, Mississippi. She has been a resident of Cheney for 29 years. Candy is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Lee Rockey, and three brothers, Bruce, Terry, and Jeff. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Patrick; and their two daughters, Katie and Emily; and a nephew, Aaron; sisters, Dare (Fort Worth, TX), Deni (Everett, WA) and Mari (Eagle Pointe, OR); brothers, Gene David (Spokane, WA), Mark (Four Lakes, WA) and Brian (Weather-ford, TX); and several nieces and nephews. Candy was the school secretary at Reid Elementary in Cheney, WA, where she worked for many years. She loved working at the school and enjoyed her co-workers and students. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, and adored going for drives and taking walks with her husband and her beloved dogs. Rosary service to be held at St. Rose of Lima at 460 N. 5th St., Cheney, WA on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 pm. A Memorial Service will also be held Thursday, September 22 at 4:00pm at St. Rose of Lima in Cheney, WA. A reception will follow. Please join us in celebrating her life.
