HOLIDAY, Fla. -- Leo A. Rousseau, 69, of Holiday, Fla., died on Nov. 20, 2005 at home with his family. He was born in Westbrook and became a resident of Holiday following his retirement in 1991. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who believed serving this country was a privilege rather than a duty. He was employed at S.D. Warren Paper Mill for 36 years Despite his many professional and personal accomplishments, he often said his greatest honor was being a husband, father, friend and patriot. He was predeceased in 1982 by his mother Grace Grant of Westbrook. He is survived by his wife Sandra; and three children Lisa Durgin and her husband David, Pamela Varney and her husband Scott, and Daniel Rousseau. He is also survived by his brother, Peter Grant and his wife Janice. He had five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was said at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Holiday, Fla. He was buried with full military honors at the Florida National Military Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
