ARMAND RICHARD ROY Of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away October 20, 2005, at the age of 78. Born Armand Richard, in Frenchville, Maine, he made Connecticut and Illinois his homes, settling in Florida in 1982. Richard was a World War II veteran and fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Leora; children: Cynthia (Bernard) George of Lake Worth, Joanne Roy of Massachusetts, James of Arizona, Janet (Al) Giertych of Illinois, Karyn (Bob) Grado of Arizona and Michele Roy of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Matthew, Hilary (Daniel) Piotrowski, Allison, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Katharine, Mark, Beau, Abigail, Jacob and Charles; sister, Patricia (James) Loftus of Florida; brother, Bernard (Claire) Roy of Connecticut; and his countless loving extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, Saturday, October 29 at 9:30AM. His final resting place will be in Eagle Lake, Maine.
