ROY, Eugene B. -- Allegan -- Passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Allegan General Hospital. Gene was born August 2, 1957 in Farmington, the son of Eugene L. and Joyce (Andress) Roy, and has lived in the Allegan-Otsego area for the past 16 years. He was a boiler maker and a member of the Chicora Country Chapel. Gene had a unique personality and enjoyed making people laugh and feel more comfortable. He loved his grandchildren and "Killer". Surviving are his wife, Alma, whom he married May 25, 1991; 4 children, J. T. Neese of Allegan, Jamie (Randy) Thorpe of Allegan, Treasure Roy of Oklahoma, Courtney (Glen) Jones of Oklahoma City, OK; 7 grandchildren, Josh, Amanda, Jacob, Dawson, Trevor Gene, Dalton, Trey; his mother, Joyce (Wes) May of Macomb, OK; 3 brothers, Kevin (Nancy) Roy of Midwest City, OK, Randy (Ruth) Roy of Choctaw, OK, Jeff (Sonie) Richards of Allegan; 1 sister, Brenda "Sam" (Fred) Hesser of Dickinson, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene L. Roy. The family will meet friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the BLOOMINGDALE CHAPEL D. L. Miller Funeral Home www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com where funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday with Pastor Herbert Curry officiating. Interment will follow in Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Township.
