ROY, JOSEPH W., 75, of Largo, died Friday (Dec. 16, 2005) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He came here in 1975 from his native Schenectady, N.Y., where he retired as a machinist for General Electric. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Largo. Survivors include his wife, Wilma; two sons, Joseph and James, both of Largo; three daughters, JoAnn McCanney, Largo, and Linda Teagle and Patricia DeVore, both of St. Petersburg; a brother, William, Amsterdam, N.Y.; a half-sister, Jean Wroblewski, Schenectady; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
