Lester Royer 79, of Port Neches died Thursday December 22, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Born to Eli Royer and Maudie Dickens in Dequincy Louisiana he had lived in Port Neches Texas since 1967, and was a retired Grocery Manager with 40 years of service. Lester was a United States WWII Navy veteran and also a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church in Port Arthur. He is survived by his wife Maude Royer of Port Neches, sons; Harry Royer and wife Glenda of Nederland, Kenneth Royer and wife Ann of Bridge City, daughter; Wilda Scoggins and husband Warren of Nederland, sisters; Willie Lois LeBlouf of West Lake Louisiana and Georgie Lee Guillory of Lake Charles Louisiana, Grandchildren 7, great - grandchildren 4. Funeral service will be held Tuesday December 27, 2005 at 10:00A.M.at the Faith Tabernacle Church in Port Arthur with Reverend Randy Hammer officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00P.M. At the Royer cemetery in Sulphur Louisiana. The family will be receiving friends Monday December 26, 2005 from 4:00P.M.
