TROY - Joan Rynecky Laviolette., 74, of 21st Street, died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 11, 2005. Born in Troy on March 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Chester Rynecky and Grace Dimnick Rynecky and was the wife of John L. "Jack" Laviolette for 51 years. A lifelong Troy resident, she was a graduate of St. Peter's School and Catholic Central High School, class of 1949. Mrs. Laviolette was a homemaker and proud mother most of her life. She also worked as clerk with General Electric Credit Corp. in Albany and the state Department of Taxation and Finance. Most recently she worked for Cohoes Fashions in Cohoes and Crossgates, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed shopping and helping her five grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished. Survivors, in addition to her husband Jack, include her three beloved sons, J. Michael Laviolette (Joan) of Troy, Thomas J. "T.J." Laviolette (Jean) of Livingston, MT, and Craig S. Laviolette (Kim) of Guilderland; two sisters; Marilyn Essegian (the late Joe) of Villa Rica, GA, and Patricia Petoniak (Joe) of Glenmont. She was the adored grandmother of Michael, Kristie, Audrey Renee, Sarah and Jacob Laviolette. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her loving friend Amy Orton of Waterford.A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 16, at Our Lady of Victory Church on North Lake Avenue in Troy. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211, would be appreciated.
