HOLYOKE - Wanda (Sanders) Mecteau Howard of Brown Avenue died Monday in Holyoke Hospital. Wanda was born in Oklahoma and has lived in Holyoke most of her life. She leaves a son Wayne Mecteau of Chicopee; a daughter Cynthia Pike of Holyoke; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Another son Michael Mecteau died in 2003. The visiting hours will be held at the Edward F. Day Funeral Home Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Her burial will be at the convenience of the family. Published in The Republican on 2/1/2005.
