Helen Marie BOWDEN

BOWDEN, Helen Marie, Mother of Weston Connecticut, USA, resident Reg Bowden, died peacefully Wednesday, January 28, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in St. Catharines. Mrs. Bowden was predeceased by her husband Reginald William Nelson Bowden who died in 1 984. Born in St. Catharines, August 7, 1912, Mrs. Bowden graduated from the Collegiate Institute, and worked in the retail business all of her life. She completed her working career as an assistant manager of the Novelty Silk Company retiring in 1980 . For the last 10 years of her life, Mrs. Bowden resided at the Loyalist Retirement Residence in St. Catharines, where she was thoughtfully cared for by her son, Mrs. Bowden is survived by her beloved family, daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lucille Prescott Bo wden Bayazit and husband Cengiz, and great-granddaughter Ella Grace Bayazit, all of New York City. Mrs. Bowden will also be remembered by other friends and family including Mrs. Glenna Bowden, Mrs. Leila Murray, Mrs. Lois Newhouse, Mrs. Douglas Dakin , and their families of Fonthill and St. Catharines.
