Mona Marie SCOTT

SMITHFIELD -- Mona Marie Breton, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville.She was born in Wilton on Oct. 11, 1930, the daughter of William and Lela (Crafts) Scott. Mona was a graduate of Winthrop High School, class of 1949. In 1950 she married Royal "Abe" Breton, who died in 1987. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Merle and Lawrence Scott.Surviving are a daughter, Marie Morneau and husband Denis of Smithfield; a son, David Breton and wife Ann of Smithfield; two brothers, Frances Scott and wife Virginia of Readfield, and Norman Scott of Greene; four sisters, Glenna MacMartin and husband Edward of Wolfeboro, N.H., Alice Ireland and Muriel Powers of Industry, and Lynda Mcguire and husband Thomas of Oakland; four granddaughters, Stacie Fuller and husband Allen of Albion, Amy Hammond and husband Mike of Belgrade, Sheree Southmayd and husband David of Anthem, Ariz.; and eight great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Mercedes, Bethany, Madison, Erica, Kyle and Samantha.Following cremation, burial will be at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Augusta at a later date. Arrangements are by Wheeler Funeral Home of Oakland.
