CAMPBELL, George Howard, Suddenly in the Bahamas while on vacation. Of Port Alice, B.C. and formerly of P.E.I. and St. Catharine, Ontario. Predeceased by wife Daisy Oatway (Dee) 2001, daughters Bette Anne 1979 and Lorna 1944, sisters Mabel, Florence and brother Lloyd. Survived by son Willis Campbell (Ruth) of Richmond Hill and daughter Joan (Whitehead) McClelland (Howard) and grandchildren Tanya Pasko, Kelly (Dave) Cooper, Scott (Lisa) Campbell, Tracy (Rob) Carrier, Stephanie (Joe) Reid, 14 gre at-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. A sister Minnie Martin of Montague, P.E.I. and brother Jack Campbell (Edith) of Crapaud, P.E.I. George loved the water and fishing for trout on Victoria Lake. He was a member of the Port Alice Legion and Port Alice Lions Club. A memorial service to commemorate his life will be held at St. Paul St. United Church, St. Catharines on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimers Research would be appreciated by the family. 2/18/2004- ID3456922 - St. Catharines Standard
