Waltham - Mrs. Bridget J. (Smart) Doucet of Waltham died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Epoch Senior Health Care Center, Weston. She was 93.Born in Saint John's, Newfoundland, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Walsh) Smart, she had lived in Waltham since 1945. Mrs. Doucet worked for many years at Grover Cronin’s Department Store in Waltham.She was the wife of the late Peter J. Doucet, mother of the late Joseph J. Doucet and sister of the late Marina Brockelhurst.She is survived by her children, Victor T. Doucet and George P. Doucet both of Waltham, Peter J. Doucet of Watertown, Albert G. Doucet of Riverside, California, Pauline Mills of Roslindale, Jeanette T. Cooper of New Mexico, and Lucille M. Hooper of Maine; one brother, Martin Smart and two sisters, Mary Smart and Louise McCarthy all of Newfoundland, Canada and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street Waltham at 10 :30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Epoch Senior Health Care Center, 75 Norumbega Road, Weston, MA 02493.
