BOLDUC, MRS. CATHERINE "KATIE" M. Muskegon, MI Mrs. Catherine Bolduc, age 88, passed away Friday, October 7, 2005 in Muskegon, MI. She was born February 25, 1917 to Hubert H. and Ida Smith owners of the Hubert H. Smith Meat Packing Co. The former Catherine Smith married Lawrence J. Bolduc June 12, 1940 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskegon and was married for 51 years. He preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Bolduc graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1935 and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 10 years as President of the Catholic Daughter's of America, 11 years as a volunteer for the Red Cross, a member of the Widows Together and past President of the Muskegon Deanery council of Catholic Women. She is survived by 3 sons, Mr. Lawrence (Cindy) Bolduc, Mr. Stephen (Irene) Bolduc and Mr. Jeffrey (Cynthia) Bolduc all of Muskegon, MI; 3 daughters, Mrs. Janet (Clifford) Havey of Holland, MI, Mrs. Kathleen (Donald) Kufahl of Muskegon, MI, and Mrs. Susan (Erik) Nygren of Grand Haven, MI; 1 brother, Mr. Louis (Angela) Smith of Muskegon; 1 sister Mrs. Margaret Larson of Muskegon MI; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Anthony in 1976 and 4 brothers, Nicholas, Joseph, Hubert and Raymond and 1 grandson, Mark in 1983. FUNERAL MASS: Tuesday 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Rev. Michael Olson officiating. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery VISITATION: Monday, 2-4 and 6-8pm at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to mass at the church. SCRIPTURE SERVICE: Monday evening at 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
