Wanita G. SOUCIE

Visitation for Wanita G. Senesac, 87, of Naperville, formerly of Aroma Park, will be from 8:30-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Kankakee, where she was a longtime member. Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to NAMI, Kankakee County Local, 1335 Jerome Blvd., Bradley, Ill., 60915. She died Tuesday (Aug. 9, 2005) at Tabor Hill Nursing Home in Naperville. Mrs. Senesac retired from Eastridge High School, where she was secretary in the guidance office from 1966-1982. She was born Oct. 14, 1917, in St. Anne, the daughter of Emory and Yvonne Benoit Soucie. Her husband, Orell Senesac, whom she married Nov. 4, 1939, in St. Anne, died July 14, 1993. She was a member of the CCW at her church and the Kankakee Woman's Club. She was a member and started the local chapter of NAMI (National Alliance for Mentally Ill). She enjoyed playing bridge and flower arranging. Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary and Diane Senesac of Wasilla, Alaska, David Senesac of Wheaton; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Richard Stearns of Naperville; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Marguerite Frenzke and Maxine Kessler, both of Bourbonnais, Betty and Henry Luscz of Griffith, Ind., Sandra Zelazny of Grayslake; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are one brother, Emory "Bud" Soucie; and one sister, Wilodene Brown.
