Rita M. (Soucy) Marquis, 79, of Chester Rd., Derry and formerly of Kessler Farm Dr., Nashua, died Sunday, November 20, 2005 at the Haven Health Center, Derry. Mrs. Marquis was born in Lowell, MA on May 26, 1926, a daughter of the late Adelard & Alice Soucy. She was the widow of Alfred R. Marquis who died in 1988. Mrs. Marquis was a longtime resident of Nashua. She was a communicant of St. Kathryn Church. Mrs. Marquis is survived by; One son & daughter-in-law; Joseph & Wendy Marquis of Dunbarton; One daughter & son-in-law; Pauline & Earl Davis of Hartland, ME; Five grandchildren; Earl Davis III, Lisa, Jennifer, Cody & Jessica; Six great grandchildren; Two sisters & a brother-in-law; Alice Marquis of Lowell, MA and Louise & Leo Marquis of Tyngsboro, MA; One brother & sister-in-law; Adelard & Beverly Soucy of FloridaAlso several nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: MARQUIS: Died Sunday November 20, 2005 in Derry. Rita M. Marquis, 79, of Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday in St. Kathryn Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass.
