EOMINSTER -- Della A. (St. Jean) Bergeron, 97, of 9 Vinton St., Leominster, died Friday, Dec. 16, in the Keystone Center, Leominster, after an illness. She was born May 15, 1908, in Leominster, the daughter of the late Delphis and Mary (Tourigny) St. Jean and was a life-long Leominster resident.She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and she devoted her time to her family and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Leominster.She leaves four sons, Ronald R. Bergeron and Gerald Bergeron, both of Leominster, Stanley Bergeron of Uxbridge, and Lawrence Bergeron of Duval, Wash.; one daughter, Arlene Enright of Leominster; 12 grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; three brothers, Eugene St. Jean of Fitchburg, Robert St. Jean of Leominster and Philip St. Jean of Leominster; two sisters, Cecile Bilodeau of Leominster and Claire Conolly of Fitchburg. Her husband of 23 years, Raymond “Bill” Bergeron, died in 1957. Three brothers, Alfred St. Jean, Theodore St. Jean and Ernest St. Jean; and four sisters, Irene Johnson, Yvonne St. Jean, Lillian St. Jean and Evelyn Brousseau, all predeceased her.BERGERON -- A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the M.A. Simard and Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice and may be left at the funeral home.
