JEANERETTE — Services for Mrs. Leslie Landry, the former Miriam “Mimi” Stansbury, 76, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Degeyter officiating. Entombment will follow in Beau Pre Mausoleum.Visiting hours will be observed Monday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Tuesday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Landry died at 4:10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at the Heart Hospital in Lafayette.Mrs. Landry was an Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Evangelist Church. She was a past member of Entre Nose and the Book and Hobby Club. She retired from Jeanerette Sugar Mill as a bookeeper with 20 years of service.She is survived by her three daughters, Madeline L. Leslie and husband Dan of Many, Susan L. Taylor and husband Tommy of Jacksonville, Fla., and Miriam L. Cline and husband Tony of Lafayette; two sons, D. Paul Landry and wife Jean and James D. Landry all of New Iberia; a sister, Juanita S. Brown and husband Albert Brown III of LaCombe; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Mrs. Landry was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Landry; and parents, Illiard and Bernice Weber Stansbury.Pallbearers will be D. Paul Landry, James D. Landry, Matthew Leslie, Andrew Taylor, Jake Brown and Donovan LeBlanc.Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Landry, Brian Napier, Earl Weber II, Dan Leslie and Pat Napier.David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of the arrangements.
