Agnes Forest, 87, of Langdon, ND died Friday December 16, 2005 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND. Agnes Mildred Swenson was born March 25, 1918 at Mona, ND to George and Fannie (Kennedy) Swenson. She grew up and attended school at Mona and went on to work at the Borusky Hospital of Langdon. Agnes and William James Forest were united in marriage on January 5, 1941 at Langdon. They made their home and farmed in Grey Township. In 1974 they moved to Langdon and retired from farming in 1975. Bill passed away on March 27, 1996. Agnes continued to make her home in Langdon and enjoyed being a grandma. Her home was often filled with her grandchildren. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church of Langdon. Agnes moved to Wheatland Estates in 2002 and became a resident of Maple Manor Care Center in June of 2005. Agnes is survived by her children; Richard (Patricia) Forest of Peoria, AZ, Darrell (Nanette) Forest of Warwick, ND, and Kenneth (Kristy) Forest of Wales, ND, grandchildren; Kelly (Dave) Dantas, Tricia (Kyle) Johnson, William James Forest II, Nicole (Tim) Bell, Kori (Shaun) Deal, Kacy (Danny) Steinmetz, and Kevin (Nicole) Forest, great-grandchildren; Lauren Ballweg, Madilyn Deal, Ava and Brody Steinmetz, Abby Forest, Benjamin Dantas, Asher Johnson, and Cole Forest, brother Orin (Doretta) Swenson of Langdon and sister Donna Rae (Don) Kerby of Langdon, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brothers; Quentin, Freeman, Marvin, Allen, Harlen, and Armon, sisters Audrey Kram, and Ila Faye Kram. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND. Services Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 2:00 o "clock at the United Lutheran Church of Langdon, ND.
