Eugene A. Tebo, 74, formerly of 653 W. Arndt St., died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, where he had been a resident for the past two years. He was born on May 16, 1931, in Menominee, Mich., the son of William F. and Emma Moritz Tebo. In 1954, he married Carolyn Johnson at Shiocton, Wis. Carolyn preceded him in death in 1979. Eugene was a musician with Roger Bright & His Orchestra Polka Band and the Lawrence Duckow Red Ravens, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Cleveland, Ohio Polka Hall of Fame. Eugene enjoyed music and traveling with the band. Survivors include three children, Linda Johnson of Madison, Gene (Janice) Tebo of Oshkosh and Laura (Donnell) McCalop of Slidell, La.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Edna) Tebo of Carney, Mich., and Cliff (Barb) Tebo of Marinette, Wis.; and two sisters, Eve Halle of Shiocton and Nancy Zalenka of Appleton. Preceding him in death were his parents; two infant brothers; an infant sister; and two brothers, James and Robert. Services: Memorial services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dean Desilet officiating. Cremation will take place, with inurnment at Estabrooks Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
