Marie Jean TESSIER

Marie Jean (Tessier) LaRiviere, 102, of Andover and formerly of Mattapan, died Thursday, June 2, at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Born in Haverhill, Mrs. LaRiviere was educated in the New Bedford schools. She was an administrative assistant to the commissioner of the elderly at Boston City Hall for some 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Charles Tessier and Louise (Toupin) Tessier, as well as the widow of Mozart LaRiviere. Members of her family include two nephews; two nieces, including Marguerite Schaaf of Andover; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
